Rick Faint
Rick Faint joined the Board of Directors of Solstice Software in 2002 and has served as its chairman since 2004. He assumed the roles of President and CEO in August, 2007. Rick has been the President & CEO of The Cornerstone Professional Group since 2004. From 2002 until 2004, he was Chairman & CEO of and Impact Labs, a Columbia, MD based software company. Before joining Impact, Faint was Vice President of Product and Solutions Marketing for Citrix Systems, which he joined after Citrix acquired Sequoia Software where he had been CEO. Faint joined Sequoia in 1996 and focused on building the company's sales and business development efforts. He also guided the company through three rounds of venture financing and its initial public offering (IPO). In May 1994, prior to Sequoia, Faint participated in the management led acquisition of Performance Learning Group, which merged with Mergent Technologies Group. Faint served as CFO until the company's sale to Prentice-Hall, Inc. In April 1996. From 1984 to 1994, Faint was a co-founder and CFO of PersonaCare until its merger with TheraTx. He was a member of the management team that led TheraTx through its successful IPO prior to its eventual sale to Vencor. Earlier in his career, Faint was an attorney practicing business law. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Towson University and an MBA and JD from the University of Baltimore. Faint is also the member of the Board of Directors of AmericasBank Corporation (AMAB) and StarQuartz Industries, Inc.
Mark Bishof
Mr. Bishof serves as Executive Vice President of
Global Sales and Services for Macrovision Corporation. In this capacity,
he is responsible for all sales, presales, services, channels, and alliances
globally for Macrovision. Mr. Bishof is a software and management consulting
industry veteran and brings a strong background in enterprise integration and
technology solutions for Global 2000 customers. Mr. Bishof served as an
advisor to Warburg Pincus in their Information Technology and Communications
practice. Mr. Bishof was VP of Worldwide Industry Solution Sales for IBM’s
Software Group, and prior to that, he was VP of Worldwide Sales, Websphere
Business Integration and was instrumental in building Websphere into the
dominant player in the business integration marketplace. Prior to IBM,
Mr. Bishof served as SVP Global Sales and Services for Crossworlds
Software and led the successful acquisition and integration of
CrossWorlds into IBM in 2002. Prior to Crossworlds, Mr. Bishof served as a
partner at Deloitte in the Telecommunications practice and as an associate with
Booz-Allen Hamilton in their Intelligence and Space Systems Group.
John Capobianco
Mr. Capobianco serves as President and Chief Marketing Officer for MEDecision.
At MEDecision, Mr. Capobianco is responsible for overall operations, growth and
profitability. He is the driver behind the company's successful sales and
marketing efforts, overseeing marketing communications, product marketing,
sales, and client services. Prior to joining MEDecision, Mr. Capobianco served
as general manager of marketing strategy for Hewlett-Packard's Middleware
Division and executive vice president of strategic planning and chief marketing
officer at Bluestone Software, Inc., which was acquired by HP in January 2001.
Previously, Mr. Capobianco built a successful track record of developing brand
recognition as head of marketing at SAP America, Sybase and Computer
Associates. Earlier in his career, he held a number of technical and business
analyst positions including Cobol programmer, real-time CICS assembler
programmer and project control systems designer for the financial and
manufacturing industries.
Will Dunbar
Mr. Dunbar serves as the Managing Director for Core Capital Partners. Prior to
joining Core, Mr. Dunbar was CEO and founder of Pebble Hill Capital, an
investment company which provided early-stage financing to information
technology and communications companies. Early investments included such
companies as webMethods. Previously, Mr. Dunbar was a Portfolio Manager at
Allied Capital. Mr. Dunbar also served as Executive Vice President of Allied
Capital Advisers, the management company for the Allied family of funds, and as
Chief Investment Officer for Allied's private equity activities. He began his
investment career at Venture America, a venture capital firm specializing in
early-stage, high technology investments, and was involved in the early funding
of Discovery Communications and Digene. Mr. Dunbar also held positions in LBO
Lending at Chase Manhattan Bank and in technology operations at NationsBank.
Mr. Dunbar has an MBA from Harvard University and a BA from Davidson College.
Bill Gust
Bill Gust has 40 years of business experience with a strong emphasis on venture
capital investing and the development of small rapidly growing businesses.
During the past 25 years, he has invested successfully in a broad range of
start-up and early stage companies all over the United States, including such
companies as Apple Computer, Samna (Lotus Corporation’s word processor),
HealthSouth and Chuck E. Cheese. Mr. Gust received his Bachelors Degree from
Northwestern University.
